Mike currently serves as the Managing Partner for Sharff, Wittmer, Kurtz, & Jackson, P.A., and has been practicing as a partner for the firm since 1981. Practicing for more than 42 years, Mike is experienced in all phases of accounting, auditing, tax matters, consulting, and litigation support. As managing partner Mike oversees the general operations of the firm.

He is a member of the AICPA, FICPA, and is licensed to practice in both Florida and New York. He is also an active member in the Rotary Club of Coral Gables, the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, as well as other civic matters.

Luis joined the firm from a “Big Four” accounting firm, where he previously practiced in the audit department. Shortly thereafter he was admitted as a partner. Luis has over 14 years experience in the areas of accounting, auditing, and individual taxation. While practicing with the firm, he currently concentrates in individual taxation, auditing, as well as assisting in the administration of the firms operations.

Luis is a member of the AICPA and FICPA. He also serves on the board of several charitable organizations. In addition, he also serves as a trustee member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce and the University of Miami Citizens Board.

With over 40 years of experience in the profession of accounting, Marty has extensive experience in all areas of taxation. While practicing with the firm, Marty concentrates in the fields of corporate taxation as well as estate, gift, and trust planning. In addition to his client responsibilities, Marty is also an instructor for seminars in Tax & Estate Planning.

Marty is a member of several accounting & professional associations, including: AICPA, FICPA, & the Miami-Dade Estate Planning Council. In addition, Marty also serves as a Diplomat for the American Board of Forensic Accountancy.

A Certified Public Accountant, Joseph graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and completed his graduate work at Florida International University in Taxation. Joseph has now been practicing with the Firm for over 7 years and was recently named a Partner. Joseph focuses in the areas of corporate/partnership, individual, and international taxation as well as assisting in the administration of the firms operations.
 
Joseph is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He also serves as a trustee member of the Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce, as well serving as an active member of the Rotary Club of Coral Gables.
