Cost Segregation Studies
|
At SWKJ we offer a new service that has already saved our
clients thousands of dollars in taxes. This service is a cost
segregation study. A cost segregation study is an analysis,
using a cost engineering approach acceptable to the Internal
Revenue Service, to reclassify costs from the long depreciation
lives of 27.5, 31.5 and 39 years to 5,7, and 15 years. The
value of the study comes from the acceleration of depreciation
